Willesborough Junior School

We have published a book!

Thank you for showing an interest in our school book. This is an incredible achievement for the Willesborough School community. Every page in this wonderful book serves as an inspiration to us all, showing how we can all shine through the most challenging of times.

2020 and 2021 will go down in history and this is why we have made this book to mark this extraordinary year. We want to ensure that the children of the Willesborough Schools remember these times, not just for the difficulties that they have had to face, but for the resilience, determination and creativity they have shown. We are so proud of how our children have responded to lockdown. They have produced some amazing work and we want to record, recognise and celebrate this.

The book is a hard back comprising of 350 pages. It is professionally produced by Kallkwik and published by Unicorn Press. It includes diary entries, written work, drawings and photographs, showing children at work and at play. It is our hope that this book not only provides lasting memories but that is serves a historical resource for many years to come.

We feel very passionate about this project and consider it as a platform to show the world outside just how much the Willesborough school community shines. We hope that you are as excited as we are and thank you so much for helping this dream to become a reality.

“I was absolutely amazed when I saw the Willesborough book. It is lovely and so well presented. It is definitely a treasure which will be passed down to future generations and be a little part of history. I am very proud that my children attend a school with such a hard-working, dedicated team of staff that make the school community feel like a family”.

Danielle, parent.

“I am so proud that I was able to be a part of this book. I was so sad to miss half of my last year at Willesborough Juniors, due to Covid, before moving to secondary school and it really made me happy to see all my class and year group again in the pages of the book. Memories we will all share for a lifetime”.

Macey, year six pupil.
