Yellowhammers Make A Difference Challenge
This term we have been learning about local wildlife; we did a lot of voting about which reptile we want to work on. The most votes were for grass snakes and slow worms so now we are making leaflets and posters about grass snakes and slow worms. There is a lot to do: the meadow, bug houses/mansions. Everyone is very busy. We have been writing letters to a lot of people that help wildlife. We asked if they could help us get the meadow ready to be used again. We have done a lot of research about slow worms and grass snakes. We do a lot of work but we find it quite fun to do.
At the beginning we all got a bit messed up but we finally got everything straight because our teacher, Mrs Mansfield, made a calendar that helped us when and what to do.
